Reyna Izárraga
Professional translator (english, french and italian), specialist in public relations, oil business and international advisor, with more than 10 years experience in oil trade, project developments and international business relations. 1981- 84 Miss. Izárraga had worked in the protocol area for several seminars, conferences, and international fora,(freelance) such as: Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, III UN Conference about Sea Rights (1982), and 1990- Latin American Women Lawyer Federation and Federación Venezolana de Abogadas (member of the OAS- Organization of American States). Besides, she had also worked as 1981- 1983-Protocol Guide at UN General Assembly, New York, USA, in which had the privilege to be Attaché of President Anwar Al Sadat, late President of Egypt.

 

After her return from New York 1983, Miss Izárraga had worked in several government positions, 1983-88 Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Translator, Minister Office, and 1990-95 Presidency of the Republic of Venezuela, as President ́s Private Translator. In this position she had the opportunity to work with tree (3) Presidents, Carlos Andrés Pérez, Ramón J. Velazquez, and Rafael A. Caldera. This experience allowed her to meet many important contacts and acquaintances of the political, business and social areas.

 

In 2000-02, she had the opportunity to work for CONTRINA Consortium, (Dit Harris, Petrozuata, and Sincor), Procure Office.

In 2002-03, she traveled to Curazao, and worked for CIU, Caribbean International University, Public Relations Office.

 

Back in Venezuela in 2003, Dr. Celestino Armas (former OPEC President- 1991) took her under his wing and they start to work together with oil industry national and international relations.

 

A life time experience, that allowed her to offer any company, her skills to develop strategic support, in order to open business opportunities, in Latin America and the world.

 

Besides, her skills of leadership allow her to perform her duties with responsibility and commitment.

 

Since 2003 she had been Business Representative for several Companies of the oil and gas industries, such as AMIRA USA, Inc., St. Benedict Biscop Benedictine Corp., West Bay Petroleum, Inc., and Oil & Gas Latam Energy, Co.- Colombia, Ocean Way- Europe, Spain.

 

From 2012 at present days, she has been part of the staff of DK Drilling Structures, Inc., as International Business Vice- President.
